Chicago consumer rights lawyer Paul Markoff is a founding member of Markoff Leinberger with over 15 years of experience fighting for the rights of consumers. He chose to practice consumer law because, in his own words:
“Before becoming a consumer rights lawyer, I sat in courtrooms around the country and watched as big companies sent in high-priced lawyers from large law firms to run roughshod over consumers. It was my goal to use my background in complex litigation – often working on cases with those same big firm lawyers – and apply it for the benefit of consumers who did not have access to the same resources.”
Mr. Markoff has since been dedicated to providing his consumer clients the same legal knowledge and resources in the courtroom that the big companies send in. His ultimate goal is to level the playing field in order to give the consumer a fighting chance against a big corporation.
Mr. Markoff has litigated a wide variety of consumer claims in both state and federal courts, and he has been selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers List, which is a distinction conferred on only 5% of Illinois lawyers. The Super Lawyers List is based on peer recognition and professional achievement, and is a high honor to receive.
Paul Markoff was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and has lived in Chicago for 25 years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
